2018 Voter Strategic Forum

On April 20^th, 2017 the Democratic Party Voter 2018 Strategic Forum was held at the Umstead Park United Church of Christ. Organized by the Carolina Peace Center (CPC) in cooperation with the Indivisible Triangle Daily Call to Action, a panel discussion was held along with an open mic Q & A session with members of the audience. Following the event, CPC founder Faisal R. Khan reflected upon the importance of political involvement in America today, “More people need to participate and get involved.  Younger people, Latinos, and Muslim Americans need to show up and be active participants. Knowing your rights is not enough. We all need to learn to use these rights and that’s when the real change will come.”
