Refugee Children Crisis

Refugee children Crisis at US/Mexico border
The number of detained children has “tripled in the last two weeks” climbing to 3,200 unaccompanied kids. Nearly half — 1,400 — are inside iceboxes with no beds. They are small concrete rooms only with metal benches. Additionally, nearly 170 of the unaccompanied children are under 13 yrs. old.
Government data reviewed by NBC News show the overall number of unaccompanied migrant children who crossed the U.S. border in February spiked to roughly 9,000.
Carolina Peace Center will be holding a press conference soon. Please stay posted and if you want to help then please contact CPC.
